2024 Ashe Juniper Symposium

Presentations at the 2024 Ashe Juniper Symposium were recorded and can be viewed HERE.

The 2024 Ashe Juniper Symposium was held on May 8 – 9, 2024 at the Commons Conference Center in Austin, Texas.  The goal of the symposium was to advance our collective understanding of the science of Ashe juniper and facilitate applications of this understanding into management and conservation of sustainable, resilient and ecologically-appropriate ecosystems.

The symposium brought together scientists, land stewards, conservation practitioners, private landowners, and others, and provided an opportunity to hear about and discuss historical perspectives, recent research, and current initiatives pertaining to Ashe juniper ecology and ecosystem management, the social science of land stewardship, as well as land management programs and projects in central Texas.
